This manual is for teachers introducing the Climate Initiative and includes:

Introduction to the HSBC Eco-Schools Climate Initiative
Introducing how schools can be a part of the initiative
Description of the Eco-Schools Programme, also examining links that can be made with the curriculum through the programme.
Information and facts about climate change, including the likely impacts of climate change, evidence for climate change and global responses towards climate change.
Subthemes. This section takes an in-depth look at the link between climate change and other Eco-Schools themes of litter & waste, energy, water, transport, biodiversity, global citizenship and healthy living. The section also looks at specific actions that can be taken both at school and in the home to tackle climate change.
Appendices. Provides a number of resources for schools to use when implementing the Climate Initiative.
