Dimension: ISO A2 format in vertical layout (594mm height x 420 mm length);
Message/Communication: all submitted posters should demonstrate, in a clear and imaginative way the student's commitment to tackling climate change. The messages should identify environmental attitudes and behaviours that can lead to concrete action, e.g. "green tips" to help students and others around the world become more earth-friendly;
Content (text / artwork): Posters should include 8 to 12 text phrases (in the country's official language - there will be a translation to English on the international winning posters), and original artwork that clearly illustrates the message of the text;
Themes: the main theme of the competition is climate change; however, a connection can be made to sub-themes such as water, waste, energy, biodiversity, food and transport;
Identification: the following information should be on the back of each poster:
All entries received must be the original work of the authors and must not infringe on the copyright or trademark of any third party; the use of any logos on the front of the poster is not allowed; three-dimensional entries will not be accepted.
All entries to the international competition become the property of the Eco-Schools International Co-ordination (FEE), who can then use or reproduce them as it sees fit.
National Operators must organise the national exhibition and send good quality photographs of the winning posters to the International Co-ordination. The posters will be exhibited at the 2010 national operators meeting.
